Silver Days

Today is just one of those days. I feel malaise. I'm sitting outside here watching my young adventurer explore the world aka. the yard. There are so many cool things out there. Like the cool 2 foot long stick that can be used to bang the tree, and scratch up mommy's car (which was quickly learned as a "no-no"). And don't forget to mention all the cool new leaves that the trees have just left laying around. 

As I'm watching him, I can't help but think about how these things one day won't be so cool to my young adventurer. He's so excited to play outside and to find new things. Although, too, I can't help but feel the exhaustion spreading through my body. There is so much that needs to be done, but I just don't feel like doing anything today.
