Welcome 2013

This past year has flown by much too fast. Christmas was here and gone before I could blink, and now it's 2013 and my baby boy will be turning 3 in just one week. Wow. 3? Can that even be possible?

Looking over the past year, I can honestly say that it was one of the best years of my and my husband's marriage. We cut ties that needed to be cut. We created bonds that needed to be there in the first place. We have grown as a family. A happy family. A loving family. We have surrounded ourselves with the most positive people and it has made life so much easier. So for the new year we are continuing our journey in this path. I am so excited about what the future holds!

So for the new year, I'm going to start to blog more. As you can tell its bee quite some time since my last posting.

 A new hobby that I have taken up is sewing. My mother bought me my first sewing machine for Christmas and I couldn't be more excited! I've already made an apron, Wyatt some pj's and I'm working on my night gown right now.

I was quite pleased on how it turned out. I have been looking at buying myself one, but look no longer. Mom got the bright idea of opening an Etsy shop and selling aprons and other things that we both could make for some extra cash. It's an exciting idea. Maybe we can make it work! I'll keep you posted on that...

Are they cute? Wyatt said that he wanted Froggy pj's so I took him to the fabric store and he picked out the fabric. I can't wait to see him in them. I just have to finish the collar then Voila! So maybe I can do this! Let's bring on the challenge!

Besides becoming a seamstress, I have also been enjoying my cuddle time with my special little man.

He just makes my day!!
