There she is!

 

There she is! 

Both of these women are a part of me. Who I was and who I am now. Life’s journeys allow us to continually grow and evolve as long as we are open to it and let it. That woman on the left was stuck and depressed. She was trying to make herself accept that she would be that way forever because “it’s just a part of getting older”. 

She was bloated, puffy, tired - man was she tired… she had no energy to do the things that she wanted to do. She hated to see herself in pictures. That was reality sticking it’s ugly tongue out at her denial of what she was. 

Finally, enough was enough!! 

She took charge and has evolved into something greater - who I am today  I am quite the opposite of what I was and I’m still working on me each and every day. I’m a work in progress. Aren’t we all? These past 6 months have been life changing. I’m transforming into a better mom, wife, and ME! I want to be around on this earth for a long time to watch my kids grow and to be able to play with grandkids one day (in the very far future of course!). 

I want to enjoy life! I want to travel and experience what all is out there. Now, I have the energy and the motivation. I have the skill set and healthy habits instilled in me to be successful - not for just now, but for always. Food doesn’t control me! I control it! I am in charge and now I can stick my tongue out at reality! 

50lbs in 6 months. Size XL to a small. Busting a pair of 14s to a 6. 

I’m back to where I once thought I was fat  Boy, do I know much better now! I can see the physical changes, I’m sure you can too. The changes on the inside that you can’t see are the best! Half the woman on the outside, but double the woman on the inside!
